If I ever get married,
I will do away with the wedding dinner.
HOW OUTRAGEOUS? I know, right. But I find them to be an awfully expensive social ritual. I’m absolutely fine with social rituals, don’t get me wrong. I just have something against the more expensive ones.
Whats the point of the dinner if it makes the newly weds poor and broke? Why have such an elaborate ceremony when I will end up marrying someone who had to empty almost all his savings for it?
